I bet the over-all style of this reference sheet is a clear sign these guys have something to do with Yaaji and Alexander...
Well, they do.

Vincent is the loudmouthed and lazy classmate of Alexander but they're still very good friends. Vincent usually tries to get Alexander away from the books and have some good time. Too bad, Alexander doesn't consider a ridiculous amount of beer as good time...
And yes, Vincent is "just" a human but that has never stopped him from trying any non-human things (like trying to beat the crap outta demons with bare hands, not very clever).
Vincent also speaks in a very broad British dialect if you're interested.

Maxie!
Yeah, his "official" name is Maximillian but some people call him just Maxie.
And yes, he's pretty much of a furry. But I think he's cute.
Yup, you read right. Maxie and all the other guardian cats are born with nine lives so that's the reason why their ages are basically always unknown. Maxie is no exception.
And his eyes. I wanted to take my "belief" of cats being able to see things humans can't see to a new level. Guardian cats literally have all seeing eyes. They control the level of their vision with their eyelids. When Maxie (or any other guardian cat) closes their eyes, their vision is reduced to the same level as humans'. Seriously. And when they open their eyes properly... Well, there's basically nothing they can't see.
What's a ghost repeller? Well, in this "universe", large crowds attract ghosts (or spirit apparitions) which isn't very hoped for. Guardian cats are one of the only beings able to see and repel ghosts so basically every big building with lot of people has one as a ghost repeller. Maxie here uses sound waves to get rid of them.

Gah... That's a lot of stuff.
But don't think these OCs are gonna end here. There's more to come! Some bad guys, too.

P.S. If you're interested in how I did Vincent's pants... I used a dark green base color and messed it with a lighter tone, strokes overlapping and then I used the SPONGE filter of Photoshop. Pretty cool, eh?
